By the nutrima editorial team · Last reviewed October 2026 · How we research and write
This page explains who writes the guides and product information on nutrima.us, which sources we rely on, what we will and will not say about supplements and skincare, and how to tell us when we get something wrong.
Who writes our content
Our guides and product pages are written and edited by the nutrima editorial team, the people who run the store at Stackvian LLC. We are not doctors, pharmacists or registered dietitians, and we do not claim to be. We do not name outside experts or reviewers on our pages, because none are involved in writing or checking them.
Our job is to explain clearly what a product contains, how to read its label and what official public-health sources say about an ingredient. We do not give medical advice. For questions about your own health, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Sources we use
We base factual statements about nutrients and ingredients on official, publicly available sources:
- NIH Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS): fact sheets on vitamins, minerals and other ingredients, including recommended intakes and upper limits
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA): rules on dietary supplement labeling and claims, and FDA cosmetics information for skincare
- National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH): overviews of herbs and other ingredients, including what research has and has not found and known safety concerns
- MedlinePlus: the National Library of Medicine's consumer health information
Where we refer to research studies, we use peer-reviewed literature as cited and summarized by these sources, rather than single studies picked to make a point. Each guide lists its sources at the end. We do not cite blogs, forums, other brands' marketing or Wikipedia.
What we will and will not say
Dietary supplements in the United States are regulated differently from medicines. A supplement may carry a structure/function statement, which describes how a nutrient or ingredient relates to the normal structure or function of the body. It may not claim to diagnose, mitigate or act on a disease. We follow these rules on every page:
- No disease claims. We never write that a product or ingredient acts on a disease or medical condition.
- Structure/function language only, and only where an official source backs the statement. When a source says the evidence is mixed or limited, we say so.
- No promised results. We do not describe products with superlatives, rankings or claims about how you will look or feel.
- The FDA disclaimer appears on pages that discuss dietary supplements.
- Safety notes. Where it matters, we point out who should talk to a doctor first: people who are pregnant or nursing, under 18, taking medication or living with a medical condition.
How product information is produced
nutrima products are private-label products made for us by contract manufacturers. Our product pages are written from the manufacturer's specifications and from the printed label on the product.
- The ingredient list and Supplement Facts panel on each product page match the label.
- Product descriptions say what a product contains, its format and how to use it, as stated on the label.
- The country of manufacture is shown on each product page and differs by product.
- If a formula or label changes, we aim to update the product page to match the new label.
If you ever notice a difference between the label on your product and the information on our site, the printed label is the reference. Please tell us so we can correct the page.
How often we review our content
Every guide is reviewed at least once every 12 months, and sooner when an official source we rely on is updated or a product changes. Each guide shows a "Last reviewed" date near the top. During a review we recheck facts against our sources, confirm that links still work and make sure product links still point to items we sell.
Corrections
If you think something on our site is inaccurate, out of date or unclear, email contact@nutrima.us with the subject line "Correction". Tell us which page it is and what you think is wrong, with a source if you have one. We aim to respond within one business day. When we make a meaningful correction to a guide, we update its "Last reviewed" date.
Advertising and affiliate statement
nutrima sells its own products, and our guides link to them. We want that to be clear: when a guide mentions a product, it is a product we sell. We do not accept payment from other companies to feature, rank or mention their products. Our guides contain no paid placements.
Use of AI tools
Drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools; every page is checked against our sources and wording rules before publishing.
