This section applies to the Nutrima mobile app for iOS and Android (the "App") and to the product quiz, the AI chat and the sign-up forms on this website. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which also applies and explains your rights and how to contact us.
Information we collect.
- Contact details you give us: email address and, if you choose, your first name and mobile number.
- Your quiz answers: goal, dietary preference, age range, sex (optional), training days per week and typical hours of sleep.
- App activity: for example which offers you viewed or tapped, items added to your bag, and whether you completed a check-in or logged a workout.
- A random identifier created when the App is installed, used to keep your account and limits working.
- Meal photos you choose to scan.
- If you buy Nutrima Premium: which plan you bought, its period and the purchase reference issued by Google Play or the App Store. We never receive your card details; payment is handled by Google or Apple.
Information that stays on your device. The meals you log and their nutrition values, your weight, water intake, daily sleep and energy check-in scores and the contents of your supplement stack are stored on your phone and are not uploaded to us. If you save a "gym" or "home" place, your location coordinates stay on your device. The App does not read Apple Health or Android Health Connect.
Meal photos and AI. When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to our server and to our AI service provider (Anthropic) only to estimate calories and macronutrients. We do not keep the photo after the estimate is returned and we do not use it for marketing.
App analytics. The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure how its shopping features are used: for example that an offer was viewed, an item was added to the bag, checkout was started or the Premium screen was opened, together with an app-instance identifier and general device information such as model, operating system version, language and country. We do not send Google what you log about your body or routine (meals and their nutrition, weight, check-ins, supplements, places), we do not collect the advertising ID, and ad personalisation is switched off. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics starts only after you accept the personalisation notice in the App.
AI chat on this website. To open the chat we ask for your email address, which signs you up for our marketing emails; you can unsubscribe at any time. The messages you type are sent to our server and to our AI service provider (Anthropic) only to write the reply. We do not store the conversation on our servers; it is kept in your browser tab until you close it. The chat is an AI assistant, not a doctor or dietitian, so please do not enter medical details you would not want processed this way.
How we use this information. To build your plan and provide the App's features; to recommend products and offers that fit your answers and activity; to send you marketing emails or text messages if you agreed to receive them; to confirm Premium purchases; and to prevent abuse.
Who we share it with. Service providers that process it for us: Shopify (your customer record and preferences), Anthropic (meal photo estimates and chat replies), Google (app analytics and Google Play purchase confirmation), Apple (purchase confirmation) and our hosting provider. We do not sell information collected through the App, the quiz, the chat or these forms.
Marketing choices. You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, and from text messages by replying STOP. Agreeing to text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Deleting your data. In the App, open Me, then Privacy, then "Delete all my data" to delete the data on your device and on our servers and to unsubscribe. You can also request deletion at https://nutrima-gateway.fly.dev/delete-account or by emailing contact@nutrima.us.
Age. The App and the quiz are for adults aged 18 or older.
